This course is designed for advanced undergraduate students, graduate students and postdocs who wish to learn about new emerging animal models and research questions in morphogenesis, organogenesis and regeneration. The course is theorethical/practical and aims to bring top leading researchers in close contact to the students and to present at least 5 experimental models: Hydra, Planaria, Insects, Zebrafish, Xenopus and Axolotl. Themes include: stem cells, neurogenesis and aging in selected invertebrates and R.O.S and transgenesis in selected vertebrates.
